> DOELSTELLINGS / PURPOSE : <

1.] Om die SA Boerperd binne die struktuur te bevorder.
To promote the SA Boerperd within the structure.
2.] Om Klub byeenkomste te reël wat leersame inligting aan lede en belangstellendes sal oordra.
To organise Club meetings where educating information will be shared with members and interested persons.
3.] Indien moontlik, die uitvoering te gee aan enige ander taak wat aan die klub opgelê sal word deur die SA Boerperd Telersgenootskap.
When possible, to do any other tasks as might be required form us to do, from the SA Boerperd Breeders Society.
4.] Om algemene promosie werk te bevorder in samewerking met die SA Boerperd Telersgenootskap.
To do general promotion work, in conjunction with the SA Boerperd Breeders Society.

> FUNKSIE / FUNCTION: <

Die SA Boerperd en Ruiter Klub is die verteenwoordigende liggaam van die SA Boerperd in Gauteng, maar sluit ook lede in van Noord - Wes Provinsie en Limpopo.

We hold meetings on a continuous basis at which all aspects of the SA Boerperd are discussed. Plans and actions are work out to promote the breed.

Daar word gedurig funksies gereël (bv. plessier ritte) waar daar dan op ontspanne, informele wyse saam gekuier word - en waar die ras dan bloot geniet word. Die geleenthede dien ook soms as "dink - scrums", waar daar planne gesmee word om ons ras nog verder uit te brei.

Apart from our Chairman, which is also our Regional Representative on the Board of the SA Boerperd Breeders Society, there are a few of our members that fill portfolios on the Board, or are on committees of the Board where they do valuable work for the breed. There is a close working relationship between the Club and the Board of the SA Boerperd Breeders Society.

Ons het ‘n jaarlikse Streeks Skou tydens "Horse of the Year" skou by Kyalami, Midrand. Die moontlikheid word ondersoek om nog meer skoue in ons Streek aan te bied. Ons is bevoorreg om die Suid Afrikaanse Kampioenskappe in ons Streek te hê: dit vind plaas aan die einde van Augustus / begin September op die Pretoria Internasionale Skou.

Some of our members excel in the General Sport Horse Sphere. We have some wonderful show jumping children and juniors, as well as some dressage and showing riders and Horses.
